ST DAVIDS HMO, EXETER

We’re thrilled to introduce our latest achievement at A&K Property Solutions. The complete transformation of our St Davids HMO maisonette. Once a 4-bedroom, 1-bathroom property in average condition, this home has been reimagined as a high-end, 5-bedroom, 2-bathroom HMO, now compliant and ready for student tenants in the 2025 academic cycle.

This was far from a straightforward renovation! From removing chimney breasts and replacing rotten joists to installing a modern heating system and ensuring full HMO licensing compliance, we tackled each unique challenge with dedication.

Even a 15-year-old honey bee colony made an appearance, adding to the memorable nature of the project. With nothing in the building quite square or straight, every step brought new lessons and valuable experience.

Our focus has been on creating a home that combines visual appeal with functionality. Each bedroom and the lounge now feature designated study areas, storage has been maximised throughout, and the light, contemporary design adds warmth and elegance to the space.
